WHAT ARE YOUR THREE WORDS

"Your three words" is the new catch phrase where people express themselve using just three words. Those words can describe a feeling, a thought, or a significant event. Using your three words, tell us about you or about somethng significant that is happening or has happened in your life. Then explain what your three words mean to you.
(Having trouble thinking of your three words, google it and watch some of the videos to see how others used their three words to express themselves.)

  1. LOVE THIS CLASS. I Love the concept of outdoor adventure and how much it impacts a persons life if they let it. I also, love the maturity this class has shown over the past week. I love how we have made a change for the better and the cooperation i saw in the last activity. I love seeing all the smiling faces come into class everyday.

  2. Grateful For Life. Last November a kid who my brother and I spent most of our childhood with died serving in Afganistan. It wasn't only a hard thing to go through it was also a growing experience. I learned not to take my freedom for granted because so many people I don't know are sacraficing their lives for my freedom, just like my friend. I also learned to take pride when I say the pledge because that freedom was earned through sacrafice, not just blindly given.

  3. Don't Trust Anyone. I choose these three words because in the past I have had problems with trusting to many people, and word getting out. You find in highschool that if you say something, and you feel judged, or like in 5 seconds it will get out that those people you are with aren't your real friends. So now that is the moto i live by.

  4. Always Go BIG. By this I mean that you should ALWAYS give it your 110% and do your best(doesn't necessarily mean being serious). For example, if you dance but are constantly looking around to see if anyone is watching rather than just dancing, you look like a fool. I feel like if you don't try new or old things out of fear of what others might think ,then you will never be truely living at all. When I was in elementary school, I was extremely shy and quiet. I realized by doing this I wasn't being true to myself. I wasn't living my life; while others were dying, I wasn't using all the opportunities that were given to me. In my mind that was selfish so I decided to make this my new moto. Now people can't get me to shut up. This is also probably one of the reasons I'm in this class (other than the fact I like "adventures").

  5. That one guy. I choose these three words based on my personality i guess. I'm not that hyper active kid that cant seem to calm down. I'm more of that one guy you might remember, but don't really bother to question it. I socialize when i see fit, but other than that I'm all business, get all my work done and do what i need to do. don't get me wrong, i like being around my friends and all, but i don't typically overwhelm myself by trying to be that guy who tries to hard to make friends. I just try to maintain that balance between getting all my work done, while keeping in touch with friends and whoever i might know.

  6. "Remember To Live" are my three words to express myself. Everyday i live with the "Dream as you live forever, live as you die tomorrow" quote, and i try to live my life to the fullest , because we live only once. Many people waste their lifes and dont actually Live it. I want to enjoy my life, and it be full of memories. I try to get over my fears and try new, crazy stuff everyday. My main hobby and big part of my life is skydiving, i ve been doing it for almost 3 years now, and i never want to stop. i have goals set in my future and i will always Remember To Live:)

  7. My three words are "Beckie, Bowie, Blackhawks".
"Beckie" represents my personality. It's such a difficult thing to describe yourself in three words, so I just let my name define me. It's who I am, and what I stand for. That's how I introduce myself and that's what I am. I am Beckie.
"Bowie" represent my music, which is something that is elemental to myself. My favorite musician is David Bowie. And I've been around his music since I was very young. His music has been really central to how I view myself, because it's a constant.
Finally, "Blackhawks" represents, very obviously, my favorite hockey team. Hockey is my favorite sport in the world, and that team means so much to me. On Saturday, I actually saw them live for my first time at The Training Camp Festival. That experience was a great one for me, and it gave me a new appreciation for them.
Like, I said, describing myself in three words is a pretty daunting task. However, "Beckie, Bowie, Blackhawks" gives a pretty decent overview of who I am and what's important to me.

  8. Live, Laugh, Learn. Those are the three words that I usually go by especially when it comes to school. We shouldn't just worry about the homework that we are given and freak out about the tests that we have that week. Instead, we should also live our life to the fullest and try make the best out of everything. We should enjoy being with our friends, laughing at their jokes, and also learning with them. It is true that we should concencentrate in school, but we should also enjoy it and not make it a place that is dreaded because of tests. Sometimes I forget this motto myself, but at the end of the day I always remember to live, laugh, and learn.

  9. Love Always Hopes. These three words are important because love will always give you hope. it can go through rough patches like a busy sceduale or a fight with a best friend, but the end result still turns out right. When you really love something or someone you will always have hope and look for the light at the end of the tunnel. It even applies with school because if I hadnt had people around me that loved me and helpped me when the pressure of school got to be to much, i think i would have given up on school completly. THese three words can help me with any problem i have, no matter how small or how big.

  10. Live laugh love are my three words. I feel like in life, just living everyday isn't what life is about. I think that in life, you truly "live" and to me, that means to be bold, give all your effort in whatever you do, have fun, be happy, and to forgive and forget because life's too short to hold onto grudges. But forgiving and forgetting doesn't mean you'll be back to what your relationship with that other person, but it means you forgave them yet you don't want to deal them, o you should forget about them. For laugh, I think that laughing in life is a big part to happiness, so you need that. As for love, I believe that life is not life living when there is no love. These three words describe me because I live by this, and think that by living this way, my life will be a memorable and meaningful journey.

  11. "pay it forward"
I like this three word phrase because many people don't know how fortunate they are. For example, Fremd students are wealthy, have a good education, and get many opportunities. Instead of basking in the glow of your fortunes, you should try to help out others in need. If you are given something that has helped you succeed in life, give something to someone else so they can also succeed. Many famous people take part in charities and help people in need. They try to raise awareness of issues in the world. They spend their time and money benefiting others. That is paying it forward. This is also the name of a movie. It is one of my favorite movies.

  12. ALWAYS STAY POSITIVE

I'd say that because no matter what happends in your life or where life takes you, if you don't stay positive then you'll never accomplish your goals or defeat the challenges that life throws at you. also, if you have a positive attidude, more people will like you and enjoy being around you.

  13. KEEP ON TRYING
I say there is no need to ever give up. Whether it's your dreams, your classes, or a life situation, the best thing you can do is keep chugging through it until you succeed. You don't always have to go about achieving your goal in one way. You can take different paths to strive for your goals. Perserverance is one of the strongest characteristics a person can have. I think it shows bravery when others are afraid, hope when others are hopeless, and strength when others are falling around you. Never giving up without a fight is how all of us are able to survive because we can learn from our mistakes, perservere through them, and then keep living after that.

  14. Never Leave Forgotton. Knowing what it feels like to be forgotten or left behind. Weather its being forgotten about while hiding in hide and go seek and others leave. Or being left our of group plans. My one goal have always been, and will always be. Never leave others forgotten or left behind. Im a very unselfish person. And my friends will always come first. Even if i just meet you, in my eyes your already first. Ill do my best to never forgot about people or leave them behind. I know what its like to not be included. Ill never forgot about people.

  15. always respect yourself.
if you don't respect yourself, how can other people? everybody is as important as the next person, but you have to make good decisions and know that you deserve the best for yourself. i've seen friends and other people not respecting themselves by decisions they've made that led them down the wrong path.

  16. Be YOUR Best. These words mean that you should be who you want to be. It seems like everyone is always trying to please everyone else and forget who they really are. We should hold ourselves to our own personal standards. No one should be able to bring you down by saying that you aren't good enough. I'm sick of being compared and comparing myself to other people. Lately, I've doing things for myself without wondering what people will think. We all need to be our own best!

  17. Trust in tomorrow. You will never know what is coming, and sometimes life gets really bad or difficult. But the key to being happy and living life free from issues in your past is to always believe that tomorrow will bring something better. It might not always be true, but it's that kind of attitude that gets people places. And so that's what I try to live by. Always looking forward with hope, learning from the mistakes of my past.

  18. Laugh, smile everyday.
I chose these three words because laughing and smiling everyday is very important to me. Life can be rough and tough but when you take time to smile and laugh you can turn a gloomy day into a day full of sunshine. Everyday I try to smile and laugh because I know that I could have so many things so worse. I am lucky to go to a great school and live in a nice community. Even telling a joke or smiling at someone who is having a rough day can bring some enjoyment into their life.

  19. RAISE YOUR VOICE
These three words really encompass what I believe in. Leaving things within yourself without expressing them can lead to problems and allow them to escalate to a level they do not need to get to. By releasing your voice it allows you to come to a realistic solution to the problem. By speaking up and saying something early I have prevented bigger issues. I think speaking up about things is a wonderful way to release your emotions.
These three words are also the title of a song from Sister Act the musical which I saw on Broadway in August and it is an amazing song that is constantly playing in my head. In the context of the show the song is teaching characters how to sing and music is one of the most important parts of my life. I think that everyone should enjoy expressing themselves through song- singing, playing or listening- is a wonderful thing. People should always keep music a part of their lives.

  20. There She Goes.
While listening to this song, I realized that the title has some significance to me. It represents me because I feel like I am constantly on the go between school, gymnastics, and trying to fit in everything else in between. Always being busy is something that I both love and hate, because sometimes it causes me to be incredibly stressed, but it has also taught me how to deal with busy situations and how to manage my time. I think that when people (especially my family members) think of me, they picture me as a person who never slows down or lets the stress of life get to them, and while it's a good quality to have, it's also important that I take time to appreciate the life I have and to not overexert myself because I'll end up being unhappy if I do.

  21. In the Shadows.
i chose these three words because it describes my personality. I am pretty shy by nature. I was always the type to try and stay below the radar. I try not to be noticed and stay in the shadows.

  22. Heart over Brain.
I think we so often let our brain overrule our thinking in everyday life. Especially with emotions, a lot of the time we tend to dismiss feelings with our brain as illogical. We sometimes believe that we should not be feeling a certain way such as guilty, love, relief, etc. Our heart usually tells us one thing, while our brain says another. It is important that we do not completely shut out our heart. I believe that our heart is what truly defines us over everything. It is what makes us unique and what ultimately makes us, us. Our brain tells us what to do and not to do, and our brain is seemingly influenced by others no matter how much we strive for it not to be. Either we feel the need to conform with others in order to fit in, want to do more than we can handle because we think we can take it, or are embarrassed about something that may not be in our control. A lot of people I have heard from, such as my older sister and cousins, say that in high school, everyone is so worried about how other people will judge them (whether you admit this or not), but in college, you can really come into your own without restrictions. Most people or parents say that someone they know “changed” in college, but in my opinion, they probably were just listening a little more to their heart and who they really are in life. There are two types of people in the world. There are the ones that will accept you for you and the ones that won’t. I say that each person you come across in life should accept you as you are, as your true self. If they are your true friends, they will accept you as an entire package, instead of just bits and pieces of you. And, you will not feel obliged to do or feel a certain way. If someone cannot accept and welcome the entire package, then they probably don’t deserve you.

  23. Conquer the frustration. I have seen numerous times people getting frustrated, including me. We need to overcome this frustration to become more successful as a group and to have fun.

  24. Repect, kindness and patience cause without respect no one cares, kindness can get you far in life and respect from others and with patience you can get all of those words in return

  25. Don't always worry. I, as well as many other people I know, worry waaaay too much. School, friends...everything ever imaginable. I wish it was possible to not be constantly worrying, so I try the best I can to not do it. But on occasion paranoia gets the best of me and I can't do anything to stop it.

  26. Life Goes On.

I chose these three words because everyone faces problems no matter how they try to avoid it. The best way to solve them though, is to keep going. Everytime I have a bad day, I always tell my self these three words.

  27. Smile through pain.
I've had to deal with many obstacles throughout my life and I've learned that the best way to get through hard times is to maintain a positive outlook. Even when times are hard, it is always better to focus on the positive aspects of the situation instead of dueling on the negative. Smile and surround yourself with people who make you happy. I try my best to constantly keep this advice in mind. Overall, I believe this has made me a more cheerful person.

  28. My three words are Dont give up. I chose these three because I think they relate to everything that comes at you in life. If you really want something, no matter what gets in your way never stop trying to reach your goal. Your friends and family will support you through everything and you should always work to make yourself happy so there should be no excuse for you to give up on ANYTHING.

  29. Just be chill. I'm a very laid-back person, the kind of person where drama always revolves around me (like if it's concerning friends) but never actually involves me. I'm the one always telling people to chill out in stressful situations, so these three words do well in describing me and my life at the moment.

  30. life wont wait.

i stand by this so much because life is so short to be unhappy, we spend so much time worrying about things that dont mean anything. we should always look at the positive side to every situation and appreciate all the things we have, and while we can live it to the fullest do things that we have always wanted to do. HAVE FUN! while we can still enjoy ourselves and not let anything get to us or anybody make us unhappy. just do whatever makes us happy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Love yourself first.

That phrase is important to me because it's what I keep in mind at all times. If you don't love yourself, or even like yourself, then how can you expect anyone else to? You have to be happy in your own shoes, because that's where you'll be your whole life. You can't depend on other people to make you happy, you have to do that for yourself. Just a couple days ago, one of my good friend's girlfriend tried to hurt herself badly. It made me think about life, and all the expectations of it. I guess the pressure of everyday living and trying to please other people just got the best of her, and she felt worthless. This also created relationship problems between my friend and her, because she didn't like herself enough. So the bottom line is that you always need to keep a strong head about yourself, and try to be the best person you can be, because everyone is great in their own way, weather they know it or not.

  32. The Small Things.

My three words have a sort of double meaning. In one sense, we should not worry too much about all "the small things". If something doesn't go exactly according to plan, we should not stress over it. Sometimes I think we need to look at our lives from a larger perspective and realize that what may seem like the end of the world is really not as bad as make it out to be.

Also, I think we often forget to appreciate "the small things" that people do for us. (Like a smile, compliment, or a small favor.) Though they hardly take any effort at all, they can really turn someone's whole day around.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Never Give Up
I have learned that if you just give up and stop trying you will never be able to feel success or accomplished. If you keep on trying and eventually you get it, it could be the best feeling in the world. My freshman year i had a bad injury while doing gymnastics and after i was healed i kept on trying at gymnastics to get back to where i was. I never gave up and now i love gymnastics more than ever.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Love Conquers All
Throughout life I've learned that the only true way to be happy is to love yourself. Love the people around you even if they do something bad to you. Showing someone compassion even when they don't deserve it can change a person for the better.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Always dream big. I chose these three words because I believe to be successful in life your aspirations have to be greater than others. You must always want to go the extra mile. By having those big dreams, you can never be satisfied by mediocrity so you will forever try to do more. By doing this I believe that I'll be able to achieve success and really get somewhere in life.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Anything is possible. I've always, or at least tried to, live my life thinking this. I grew up being taught that you can do pretty much anything you want as long as you give 100% and keep your mind to things. Many people may think that I am stubborn because of this, and most of the time i won't disagree, but when I feel very strongly towards something, then I give it my all until either I achieve my goal, or until I feel like I have done at least enough to count.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Everything is Perfect

I've been surrounded by people who are convinced they will never be perfect, who is to say you aren't already perfect? I believe there are no wrong actions in life. Maybe things may seem wrong but every single force put onto the universe keeps it heading on the path it is in, so if we progress life a different way the world would never be the same. I'm not saying murder is ok, but I'm ok with murder, death, disease, anything really. Whatever happens happens.

  38. Enjoy your life... Are my three words, I choose them because if you are stressed out all the time over little things you are not really enjoying life. Your too busy trying to do things and get places, everything is chaotic. Sometimes you just have to sit back and loon at the big picture and realize that you only live once. Why not enjoy it?!
